Buy Cameras - The Canon Optura 200MC is a digital video camcorder, using the standard MiniDV cassette. Delivering more than 500 lines of horizontal resolution, it produces high quality video. This camera records audio and video as digital data which can be transferred to and from a PC or a professional DV VCR through a 4-pin connector based on IEEE 1394 protocol. This DV terminal ensures high-quality transfer of the digital data with almost no deterioration in quality of pictures or audio. The Optura 200MC also handles two types of analog audio and video input/output using audio/video cables (composite) or S-video. It features a 2.5'' flip-out LCD screen which makes it easy for you to view colorful, well-composed video. The camcorder also incorporates a tilting viewfinder which provides you flexible shooting options. The Optura 200MC has a built-in, pop-up flash for use in digital still picture-taking making it easier to shoot the correct exposure even in dark environments. Pros: Lightweight, usable, crisp shots, flash for stills
Cons: Short battery life, night mode is a joke

Pros: Ideal travel DVcamera. Lightweight. Comfortable. Intuitive interface. Image stabiliser excellent.Good software bundle. Quality stills.
Cons: SD memory card too small. Could do with a wider lens.
