Buy Cameras - JVC's HDD based Everio line has always been promising, but everyone is pining for more room for video, especially in a camera with no way to swap in more media when you're running out of space. JVC is giving up the good stuff with its 30GB GZ-MG37 camera. At the highest quality, the 30GB model records 7 hour of video, with a 680k CCD and a powerful 32x optical zoom.

Post by: mrkoder - Date: 2006-09-13T08:39:05.000-08:00 Author's Rating: 4.00 rating
Pros: Great concept! Extremely user-friendly. Powerful zoom. Extra features.
Cons: EXPENSIVE! Video quality is questionable. 16:9 files stretched back to 4:3 when played.
The Bottom Line: This camera is for you if you don't like messing with tapes and disks. But, don't count on it if you want the best video quality.
