Buy Cameras - The screen's hybrid technology minimizes LCD washout even in bright sunlight and can rotate up to 270-degrees for multiple viewing angles. Beyond its 3.5-inch screen, the camcorder will share most of the same features as the DCR-DVD201 DVD Handycam camcorder, such as a one-megapixel Advanced HAD CCD imager and the ability to take one-megapixel digital still images.

Cons: Try to use Sony discs
The Bottom Line: Is a very nice camcorder especially if you are coming out of VHS-C as I did.

Pros: Ease of use and ability to record directly to DVD.
Cons: It doesn't have a built-in 1394 port.

Pros: Great color balance, and nightshot. Quick recording, and widescreen mode,
Cons: Limited disc compatibility, noise in dark areas
The Bottom Line: But it. There are few alternatives in the DVD Camcorder market, and this one is probably the best.

It Drops the Price of the DVD201!

Pros: DVD format very compatible with DVD players, easy to use, small, high amount of pixels
Cons: Expensive, lack of good manual controls, lower resolution than some Hitachi and Panasonic
The Bottom Line: Unless you REALLY need a 3.5" LCD screen on a mini DVD camcorder, get the DVD-201 for the same quality, or a different brand for better quality.
