Pros: 3-CCD imaging chips; looks great in bright light; FireWire (i.Link) connection
Cons: Quirky manual lens focus; average in dim light
The Bottom Line: This is a fine low-cost professional DV/DVCAM camcorder with all the toys in a tiny package.

Cost effective 16:9 DVCAM shoots brilliant video/audio in good light.
Post by: shawn_mielke - Date: 2003-12-29T00:06:19.000-08:00 Author's Rating: 5.00 rating
Pros: Fantastic video with lownoise, exceptional audio, real 16:9, compact size, beautiful LCD/ B&W VF.
Cons: heavy vertical smear, some ill placed controls.
The Bottom Line: 16:9, cost effective DVCAM should be two of the main needs when considering the PDX10. XLRs are a bonus, otherwise go for the trv950; they offer identical video.
