As well as counteracting shake to reduce blurring, the Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 DG OS Lens also addresses the issues of flare, ghosting and aberrations. The inclusion of the SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element ensures images are crisp and sharp and the colours accurate, while the Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces occurrences of lens flare and ghosting and also contributes to the contrast of the image.
