Pros: Image quality is one of the best for this category of camera
Cons: if you take many pix's, consider moving on to a Digital SLR, which I am.
The Bottom Line: If you want a good camera at an afforadble price this is the camera for you. If you are looking for more tools then move on to a Digital SLR.

Pros: Great photos at 8 megapixels, panorama shots, viewfinder
Cons: Awkward on-off and controls
The Bottom Line: I recommend this pocket camera for someone who wants to do more than just point and shoot. You're looking for a viewfinder, high pixel count, and small size.

SD850 IS : I'm not so enamored with this model compared to the last one
Post by: yusakugo - Date: 2007-08-13T06:58:21.000-08:00 Author's Rating: 3.00 rating
Pros: 4x optical zoom, 4GB movie file size, ISO1600, image stabilization, overall build, easy to use
Cons: Expensive compared to competition, many megapixels x small sensor = some picture quality problems
The Bottom Line: Overall a good camera but I find that the SD800 is a better overall camera and value than the SD850 especially for night photos and enlargements.
